Bud Anderson, a favorite with attendees, appearing with the “Old Crow” a P-51 painted in his World War II paint scheme is the featured speaker. Bud’s World War II stories are always a big hit. He will certainly tell a few of those.  In keeping with this year’s “Welcome Home” Vietnam theme, Bud will also speak about his time in Southeast Asia.  Bud’s first assignment in Southeast Asia was in 1965 (for 2 ½ years) on Okinawa where he became Wing Commander of the Fifth Air Force’s 18th Tactical Fighter Wing flying the F-105 “Thud”. In 1970 he returned to SEA to assume command of the 355th Tac Fighter Wing at Takhli Royal Thai AFB.

Bud is joined by his son Jim Anderson flew the O2 while stationed at Bien Hoa in South Vietnam.  When Bud and Jim were asked to speak about their service in Vietnam, they both made the same comment – “I didn’t do anything in Vietnam compared to other guys!”  Regardless of what they say, the Warbirds in Review Audience will appreciate and enjoy hearing about their Vietnam service!

Both “Old Crow” Owners Jack Roush and Jim Hagedorn will join Bud and Jim to talk about their aircraft.
